Assembly

We have two types of assemblies at East Narrogin Primary School. These are our operational assemblies which occur each Monday morning and our class assemblies (general assemblies) which occur up to twice a term and operate on a Friday.

Operational Assemblies

These occur each Monday morning in the undercover area. Students assemble at 8.45am to hear messages from the Principal, Deputies and Teachers. We also present our Behaviour of the Week, draw out ENE Bee Point winners and remind students of coming events. These assemblies are not open to the general public although from time to time our students may hear messages from a guest speaker. Our student leaders host these assemblies and the duration is expected to be between 15-20 minutes. Our school mascot, ENE Bee assists the school leaders with this assembly.

Class Assemblies

Class assemblies will be held on Fridays in the undercover area at 8.45am. These assemblies occur about three times each term to accommodate presentation by each class as rostered. The rostered class will host the assembly and perform an item. This assembly also includes the presentation of Honour Certificates and Aussie of the Month Awards. At times alternate classes will give an overview of the learning that has been happening in their classroom.

All parents, friends and community members are welcome at our class assemblies.

Class assemblies will be advertised in the school newsletter and included in the Term Planner.
