Lost Property

All students are encouraged to be responsible for their own belongings, but from time to time articles of clothing, drink bottles, lunch boxes and school bags are found lying around the school. These present a problem to us when they do not have the child’s name on the article.

TO AVOID LOST PROPERTY IT IS IMPORTANT THAT ALL CHILDREN’S CLOTHING ARTICLES AND PERSONAL ITEMS (PARTICULARLY SCHOOL JUMPERS, JACKETS AND HATS) ARE CLEARLY LABELLED WITH THE CHILD’S FIRST AND SURNAME.

All items of lost property are placed in a green bin which is located on the stage in the undercover area.

These will remain there until the end of each term. Unclaimed items are then given to the Uniform Shop for the second-hand uniform stock, or given away to a charity if the items are not uniform.
